Meet the Homes by Tradition Team

Dean Nelson
Dean is President of Homes by Tradition. He has over 20 years of industry knowledge and experience in residential development and construction. His commitment to building high quality homes is evident in his referral rating among his customers. Dean earned a Business Finance and Construction Management Degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato after serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Chris Meronuck
Chris has held many important roles during his extensive experience in new construction. His educational background is in Business and Economics. He brings this vast experience to Homes by Tradition, in his role of Construction Manager. He oversees the entire day to day operations in purchasing and construction.

Scott Hockert
Scott is Homes by Tradition's Purchasing Manager. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Construction Management and Business Management and has gained substantial purchasing experience by working with top national and local custom home builders. His goal is to get the best product and services at the best price for each and every Homes by Tradition customer.

Evan Cohoe
Evan is a design consultant for Homes by Tradition. Evan has worked in luxury custom new construction for over 10 years. She has finished Kitchen and Bath design school at Century College and obtained her Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) designation. Evan has extensive remodeling and new construction background as well as knowledge of all interior trends, colors, and finishes.

Julie Robbins
Julie brings her passion for interior and fashion design to her work as a Design Consultant for Homes by Tradition. Her interior design skills include conceptual design, color consultation, space planning, model home merchandising, home staging, and interior material selection process. Julie earned a degree in Interior Design and Construction Management from Minnesota State University , Mankato .

David Nelson
David is a Homes by Tradition Project Manger specializing in custom homes and remodeling. David is well educated in the construction field, having completed his undergraduate work in Urban & Regional Planning/Historical Preservation/ Community Revitalization. He also earned a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota Project Management & Community Revitalization.

Heath Brown
Heath is a Project Manager for Homes by Tradition. He learned the construction business from the ground up by working in several different roles within the construction management team.  He has been recognized as a stand out in customer satisfaction by J. D. Power and Associates. Heath holds a degree in Communication/Electronic Media from Waldorf College . 

Jeremy Dahlback
A Homes by Tradition Project Manager, Jeremy was born into the construction business and spent years working with his dad building custom homes in southern Minnesota. After earning a degree in Criminology/Sociology at Rochester Community Collage, he returned to the family business initially specializing as a Bricklayer/Stone Mason before joining Homes by Tradition.

Teresa Wanous
Teresa is a New Home Consultant for Homes by Tradition specializing in the Executive Single Family/Luxury Town Homes in Spirit of Brandtjen Farm. Teresa has experience in both residential new construction and the home improvement industry. She has been well recognized for her sales goal accomplishment as well as her customer satisfaction scores.

Dwight Harvey
Dwight joined Homes by Tradition in the role of Controller in 2009. As the Controller he managers all day to day financial and operating activities within the company. He plays an important role in project budget and company forecasting. His specialty is system analysis and improvement. In the past he has held roles as a Staff Auditor, VP of Finance, General Manager, and Chief Financial Officer after completing his Bachelor Degree in Accounting and receiving his Certified Public Accountant Licenses in Minnesota and Illinois.
